The club have announced the appointment of former Scotland international Russell Martin. He is 35years old, as their new manager on a three-year contract. 

The young Scottish coach has just two years of coaching experience with Milton Keynes Dons in England’s League One or Third Division. 

For Martin, Swansea will play in the opening match of the 2021/21 Championship season with a visit to Blackburn on Saturday, August 7, while the team’s aim is to win a ticket to the Premier League. next season
